Same country, different job
Both lanes touch Pakistan affairs, current events, basic science, and Islamiat or ethics flavours depending on the post. That overlap is real — one clean GK habit can feed both. The mistake is acting like every paper-style set is the exact booklet you will see next month.
PPSC posts differ by department. Police-flavoured work and food-department work do not reward the same rabbit holes. CSS wants wider reading and, for the written side, the ability to talk a topic without staring at notes.
Also remember: advertisements change. Last year's favourite topic can shrink. Build habits that survive notice changes, not a fantasy paper you downloaded from a random group.
A split you can keep
Shared core first: map basics, constitutional outline, major eras, everyday science that keeps returning, and a weekly current-affairs skim from one source you trust. Short notes. Dates plus one line. Long essays you never reopen are theatre.
Then branch. For PPSC-style timed MCQs, run mixed sets under a clock and accept that some stems are narrow. For CSS, keep some longer reading days and closed-book recall — three minutes speaking a topic out loud. Clicking MCQs alone will not carry a written paper.
If you are sitting both tracks in the same year, protect the shared core in the morning and put the track-specific drill in the evening. Mixing everything into one anxious pile usually means nothing gets finished.

Using this site without fooling yourself
Use the sectioned quizzes here for speed and elimination. Use the guides and your own notebook for meaning. Anything that looks like a hard rule or cut-off — check the latest official advertisement. Educational practice only. We are not a commission, and we do not upload leaked paper PDFs.
Practice-style items here are inspired by common exam patterns. Treat them as gym equipment. The match is still the official paper in the hall.
A one-week split you can copy
Monday–Tuesday: shared core — maps, constitution outline, one science sheet. Wednesday: timed practice sets on the hub (PPSC-shaped speed). Thursday: closed-book talk for CSS if that is your lane. Friday: Daily Drop plus error log. Weekend: one longer mixed set or rest if you slept badly.
If you only have PPSC in the diary, swap Thursday for another timed set in the department you applied for. The split is a skeleton, not a religion.
What you should not copy: treating every labelled “year/post” module as tomorrow’s exact booklet. Labels organise practice. Official advertisements still govern the hall.
Put it into practice
Run a timed set and apply what you just read.
