How to use the Daily Drop

Guides · ~3 min read

Same slot each day, honest attempt, one line of notes after. That is the whole system.

Updated August 2026. Timed practice sets inspired by common exam patterns — not official papers. Educational practice only — not affiliated with any exam board.

What it is for

Daily Drop is a mixed timed set that follows the calendar day. It will not replace a full syllabus. It exists for the days when you will not open three books but can still give the exam fifteen clean minutes.

Already finished today? You can run it again for revision. The first finish marks the day on this browser. Extra runs are just more practice.

Some people turn Daily into a scoreboard war with themselves and quit after a bad percentage. Do not. The point is contact with timed work, not a perfect graph.

Attendance mindset

Think of Daily Drop as attendance for your brain — not a personality test. Missing one day is fine. Panic-streaks are not. Show up tomorrow once — that already beats a revenge binge.

A routine that survives real life

Lock a window — after Fajr, lunch, or late night — and protect it. Open the briefing, check count and time, then start. Do not half-quiz with WhatsApp open on the side.

When the score lands, do not only screenshot the percentage. One line is enough: slow on X or silly on Y. Progress here lives in your browser. The streak is a nudge, not a medal.

If your slot keeps slipping, shrink it. Ten focused minutes beats a planned forty that never happens.

Quick tips

  • Lock a fixed daily slot — protect it like a meeting.
  • One honest note after each set: "slow on X" or "silly on Y."
  • Ten focused minutes beats a planned forty that never happens.

When to skip

If a weak chapter is on fire, stay there. Come back to Daily when you need a cold mixed check. Missing one day is fine. Panic-streaks are not.

Skip also if you are sick or slept three hours. A wrecked attempt teaches the wrong lesson — that you are bad at GK — when you were just tired.

If you skip more than three days in a row, do not make up with five Dailies in one night. Do one clean set and go back to your normal slot. Guilt stacks are not a study plan. Show up tomorrow once — that already beats a revenge binge.

What a “clean” Daily actually looks like

Phone face down. Briefing read once. Start. Lock answers without bargaining. After submit, one line in a note: “slow on analogies” or “misread except.” That is the whole ceremony.

If you cannot name the miss in one line, you were scrolling, not practising. Repeat tomorrow with the same slot. Volume without a line is just another abandoned graph.

Daily Drop is mixed on purpose. Do not treat a bad science item as a reason to delete the habit. Mixed pressure is the product. Chapter drills exist for the hole you named in that one line.
